Cybersecurity of Future Technologies

The Information System Authority (RIA) procures and coordinates analyses and studies in the domain of research and development with the objective of supporting Estonian companies and institutions in their cybersecurity aspirations. The focus of the research and development coordination department is on the cybersecurity of future technologies.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Technology Security

Due to the increasingly widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence systems (AI/ML), it is necessary to pay closer attention to the cybersecurity of these systems. In order to support the development plans of Estonian companies and institutions, we commissioned an analysis of the risks associated with AI technology and the potential mitigation measures, which can be utilized by all those intending to implement such technologies.

Security of Automated Systems and Robotics Solutions

Automated Systems and Technologies (AST) are cyber-physical systems that integrate sensors, the Internet of Things, robotic systems, and cloud computing systems, using intelligent infrastructure to achieve organisational goals. To support the implementation of automated systems of Estonian organisations and institutions, we commissioned an analysis of the technology risks and the possibilities for mitigating those risks.

The studies and analyses are co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
