ID-cards work without issues on the upcoming macOS version 11 (Big Sur)

On 15 October 2020, Apple released the beta version of the new macOS (Big Sur), which resolved the issue with using ID-cards that occurred in previous beta versions of Big Sur.

The Information System Authority has tested the ID software with the newest beta version of the new macOS (Big Sur) and found that Apple has now fixed the issue.

Apple will fully release the macOS version 11 (Big Sur) this autumn.

08.10.2020 – Today, the Information System Authority (RIA) released a new version of the ID-card software for Windows, macOS, and Linux operation systems, resolving the issue that arose on 6 August 2020, wherein the Russian version of the DigiDoc4 client encountered errors when attempting to sign with Mobile-ID.
